Hyde Park is likely the neighborhood most familiar to those outside of Cincinnati. Whenever I get a call from a relocating client, they automatically ask “tell me about Hyde Park”.
Hyde Park is about 5 miles from Downtown Cincinnati and has homes of all price points from the $250k cape cod to the fully renovated “mansion”. The physical core of the Hyde Park neighborhood is Hyde Park Square and is a pocket park in the middle of Erie Ave surrounded by retail shopping and apartment/ condo residential. The iconic Graeters Ice Cream store is located here and is a popular destination.
Often overlooked, but gaining attention is the second downtown of East Hyde Park. This second fiddle spot is a gem in my mind as it has the essentials, coffee shop (Coffee Emporium), thai food (Bangkok Bistro) and a local pub (Haps). The reason for its growing interest is the Wasson Way Trail which creates most of its Northern border.
